Assalamualaikum wbt readers,

My first class during interim week was subject study skill (UED102). If you were read my previous post , you might know what was study skill about. At first,  my class supposed to be at C-tec1 but suddenly changed and it's held at Dewan Titiwangsa.

SYLLABUS CONTENT FOR SUBJECT UDE102

  1. Getting ready to learn
  2. Goal setting
  3. Library and campus resourcers
  4. Time management and organization skill
  5. Memory , learning & improving concentration
  6. Taking lecture notes
  7. Academic integrity & perfomance 
GETTING READY TO LEARN 

Yesss! super duper ready and i am so excited to learn again after almost 5 month i have leave it. Learning is not boring at all when you know how to deal with it. For me,  learning it's like a journey. It gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are. A sucessful ending is my destination. Education can give me everything when i have nothing.


We can get education everywhere either throught formal or informal way. In formal way , i am now at the fourth stage , university. Universities are really different with schools.
 DIFFERENTIATION BETWEEN UNIVERSITY AND SCHOOL 

 These are a few :

  • In university, you spend less time in class and spend more time studying outside of class while school not.
  • In university, you have different assessment like assingment & E-portfolio that help you to increase your pointer but in school you are depending 100% on your examination. 
  • In university , you might not be reminded of due dates and exams. You must be alert. In school, teachers will remind you so many time i guess through invoive then annoucement or during class.
HOW DO I STEP UP MY GAME?
  1. Make a weekly schedule ( i will share mine on my next post)
  2. Make a master list of all assingment , projects and exams for entire semester. 
  3. Get to know your personal study (your preference)
  4. Learn how to take a good notes 
  5. Get to class early - review notes & reading
